Our 2018 Bare Toe Ball gala was a ton of fun AND a huge success! We cannot thank you enough for all of your support. Through the gala we were able to raise a little over $17,000!
These funds will be useful in so many ways for our hospital in Haiti, one being our malnutrition program. Through this program we see over 100 children each month! During their time at the hospital mothers are provided with health education by hospital nurses and the children receive a supplement called Plumpy Nut, a medical peanut butter that helps a child to gain weight and provides needed nutrients. Our monthly cost for this program is $500, and with your help from the gala and other support, we are able to fund this program for THREE full years! We are so thankful for this need to be met. The remaining funds raised will go towards meeting important needs of our new emergency department.
